I don't think that vincent slept in a coffin just because he couldn't save lucrecia, there must be something more (maybe he and lucrecia............. how to say it............. spent a night of passion, she got pregnant of vincent's son, vincent discovered the link between lucrecia and his father, she tried to push him away from her life and told hojo that she was waiting a son of him, hojo experimented with lucrecia's baby thinking that was his son, vincent opposed, hojo killed him, lucrecia tried to revive him, vincent awoke, he realized that he couldn't save neither his beloved nor his son, and slept in a coffin for 30 years)

So Vincent is Sephiroth's father right? I never played Dirge of Cerberus, but the FFVII recap on Advent Children DVD implied that he was. I was never entirely sure. =_=; Because I thought Hojo was Sephiroth's father. It's so confusing! @_@

Hojo is his father, but a LOT of people think it should be Vincent instead. It would be cooler if he were... I wonder if they'd change that in the future. X3~
I would personally think that Sephy would rather have Vincent as his dad instead than Hojo.
